If you haven’t made a thankful tree yet, what are you waiting for? Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means that it’s time to deck out your home with festive holiday decor! We all need to count our blessings, this year more than ever before.
Supplies Needed:
Brown Paint
Fall craft leaves or make your own with construction paper
Dark colored markers
Paper Towel Roll

Instructions:
Paint the outside of the paper towel roll, let dry.

Paint the inside of the roll about 1/3 of the way down from the top of the roll, let dry.
While the paint is drying, use the marker to write one word on each leaf that represents what/who you are thankful for.

Leave some leaves blank for filling in the branches.
From the top of the paper towel roll, cut thin strips in varying lengths for the branches – do not cut lower that the top of the 1/3 of the roll.

Glue one or two leaves with words onto the ends of each branch.

Fill the branches in with the blank leaves.

All done! This Thankful Tree craft idea can make great centerpieces, gifts, family projects, or community/group projects.
